Ed Kramer
Ed Kramer is now in his 12th year of incarceration without trial (more than 19 years by Georgia’s algorithm for “time served”). Georgia's longest pre-trial detainee, Ed was charged on August 25, 2000 with crimes he did not commit; he has always maintained his innocence. Despite continued requests for a trial, Gwinnett County set and retracted a court date on 10 separate occasions. A premeditated assault on Ed by a masked Sheriff's Deputy resulted in a traumatic brain injury; he is legally disabled from the attack.

There needs to be a good one page biography/histopry of Ed with realtion to this matter. There used to be a good set of pages at http://www.edkramer.org but all of that stuff is gone now and replaced by the Yahoo groups. I wish I knew where the old text was.
I coudl write somethign from memory, but I am not sure it would be fully correct. I don't have anything that is concise, just my memories adn a few court documents I could refer to.
